![]() You, as parents and members of the Park City Ski Team are one of our most important resources in maintaining a successful program for the athletes. The Park City Ski Team entails more workload than can affordably be contracted to staff. A “work deposit” policy was established in 1992 to provide a strong incentive to accomplish some of the more labor-intensive activities of the program. Under this policy, athlete parents are expected to provide 20 hours (per family) of volunteer “work” at PCST events during the year. In turn, 20 hours of parent volunteer support will fully retire the work deposit requirement. Those parents who do not fulfill the 20 hours by the end of the season (May) will be billed the balance. For A*, B & C Team families the parent work deposit hourly equivalent is $25/hour up to $500. Families joining the PCST for the first time upon being named to the Team (Devo, C or B) in December through try-outs are required to fulfill 20 hours at $10/hour up to $200.00.
